For Rachel Richanbach, traditional schooling wasn't the best fit. As things got worse for her, she decided that she needed to do something else. At age 15, she enrolled in the California Culinary Academy in San Francisco. After spending 6 months developing her skills in a French restaurant, she returned to the US and started her baking career. She opened her own custom cake bakery, Rachel's Cakes, in 2013.
